Privacy & Content Policy
This policy explains how Giant Crossword handles game progress, platform gaming services, purchases, reminders, advertising and in-game content.
1. Publisher and contact
Giant Crossword is published by Nxvrmore (“we”, “us”). For privacy or content questions, contact hello@nxvrmore.com.
2. Game progress and account-based features
You can play without creating a Giant Crossword account. The app saves entered letters, solved words, puzzle progress, timers, coins, unlocked features, statistics, daily-goal and streak progress, and preferences on your device. We do not operate a separate game-progress server.
If you use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games Services, the platform may process your gaming profile, account or player identifier, scores and achievements to provide leaderboards (including friends where available), achievements and related social features. Your player name and scores may be visible to other players according to your platform profile and privacy settings.
Game progress may also be copied to your Apple iCloud key-value storage on iOS or a Google Play Games Saved Games slot on Android so that it can be recovered after reinstalling the app with the same platform account. The copy includes the progress and statistics listed above, but not a password or payment-card number. Apple or Google stores and processes this copy under its own terms. A game save on one platform is not automatically transferred to the other platform.
Apple's and Google's own privacy policies and account controls apply to their services: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. If you do not connect a supported account, local gameplay and local saving remain available, but account-based recovery and online rankings may not be available.
3. Advertising and choices
We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video ads. Depending on your region, device settings and choices, ads may be personalised, non-personalised or limited. Where required, a consent form is shown before ad requests. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission is requested where applicable; declining tracking does not prevent gameplay.
The Google Mobile Ads Unity Plugin and its advertising partners may process IP address (which can indicate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, app and ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and information used for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and security. Some ad partners may request further device information subject to your consent and operating-system permissions. The game itself does not request precise GPS location. See Google's Mobile Ads Unity data disclosure, Google's Privacy Policy and the partners listed in the consent form.
You can change available advertising choices through the in-app privacy options (where offered), your device's tracking and advertising settings, and Google My Ad Center. Changing your choices may change the ads you see rather than remove all ads.
4. Remove automatic ads purchase
Giant Crossword offers an optional, one-time non-consumable “Remove automatic ads” purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If ownership is confirmed, the app removes automatic banner and interstitial ads. Optional rewarded videos remain available if you choose to watch one for extra coins or hints; they do not appear automatically. You can restore the purchase from the app's settings. Purchases and refunds are handled by the store, not by Nxvrmore. The app receives product, price and ownership/transaction status needed to display, verify and restore the entitlement, and caches the entitlement on the device. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
5. Local reminders and rating prompts
Daily reminders are off by default. If you enable them in the game's statistics screen and grant notification permission, the app schedules at most one local reminder per day on your device. No push-notification token or reminder history is sent to our server. You may switch reminders off in the app or device settings. The game may also ask the App Store or Google Play to show a rating prompt after a gameplay milestone; whether to rate is entirely your choice.
6. Sharing, security and international processing
We do not sell game-progress data and do not upload it to a Nxvrmore server. The service providers described above may receive or process data required to provide advertising, gaming services and purchases. Their data may be processed in countries outside yours under their applicable safeguards. We use platform-provided account and transport security, but no digital storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Retention, deletion and your rights
Local progress remains until you reset the game, clear app storage or uninstall it. Uninstalling the app alone may not delete a cloud copy held in your Apple or Google account; when you sign in again, the app may restore it. You can use the in-game reset for game progress and your platform account controls to manage or delete platform-held data. Store purchase records are retained by Apple or Google according to their policies and may remain available for restoration. Advertising data retention is governed by Google and its partners.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@nxvrmore.com for data that Nxvrmore controls. Use Apple and Google privacy tools for data they control.
8. Children and content
Giant Crossword is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The app contains crossword grids, clues, answers, categories, illustrations and sounds supplied with the game. Players cannot upload or publish user-generated content through the app. To report an inaccurate or inappropriate clue or an intellectual-property concern, email hello@nxvrmore.com with the puzzle and clue number if possible.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the game, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated in the app when required.
